  • The vacation home is a dream!

    We enjoyed our one-week stay in the Heckelmann apartment to the full. The apartment is very beautiful and offers a lot of space. It is brand new, modernly and lovely furnished and also very cozy. Moreover, it offers a great view of forests, hills and wonderful Quiet. Because it is a wooden house, the indoor climate is wonderful. The very spacious kitchen is very well equipped to cook yourself. During our vacation it was quite rainy in early October. We were all the more pleased to live in such a comfortable and spacious holiday home. We just lit the fireplace, played board games and read. (games and books can be found in the living room cabinets) As soon as it cleared up, we explored the area, cycled in the Eifel and Moselle, visit the maars in the Vulkaneifel, explored Bernkastel- Kues and Traben Trabach by bike, visited Landshut castle and on another rainy day paid a visit to the Old-timer Museum in Bernkastel Kues. The Heckelmanns gave us many of these excursion tips. Dorothe and Marc Heckelmann gave us a very warm and hospitable welcome, were always there when we needed tips for the best bike tour route, excursion destinations or restaurants and ultimately, we even had a very nice evening together Recapitulation: The decision to go to Diefenbach was the right one in every respect, with a view of the dream holiday apartment, the varied region with its enchanting landscape and the great landlords.

    We will be back, definitely!

  • Extra ordinary holiday home in an absolutely quite location

    When we arrived, we were greeted in a very friendly manner by Mr. Heckelmann. The house is exceptional and high quality - nothing is missing. Everything is clean and “like new”. The large and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and large terrace with barbecue leave nothing to be desired. We had a great holiday and felt very well looked and very comfortable. The hosts deserve great praise for their support and helpfulness, the good tips for excursion and the shopping opportunities in the vicinity. If you want to have a quiet and stress-free vacation, you have come to the right place. Absolute recommendation!

    The equipment of the house is very high quality and leaves nothing to be desired. Everything very tasteful decorated. When we arrived, we were greeted by the very personable landlord. The fully equipped kitchen, the terrace with all garden furniture and the beautiful, quiet location of the house should be emphasized.

    We have travelled the world and been to many places, but this is just a spot. Very good price- performance. Beautifully located in the hills near the Moselle and very friendly owners who help you with everything. Top house with everything you could wish for. Wonderful view, birds everywhere, nice kitchen, good TV, comfortable beds, nice bathroom etc. And yes, we like to buy the house!!!!! Definitely come back to this pearl!

  • This Holiday home is vacation at the highest level

    My wife and I spent four wonderful days in this holiday home. The house is in a very quiet location, where you can perfectly relax. You are only a few minutes drives from home. The rooms are very large, and the room layout is well thought out. The interior is very high quality. Everything you can think of is in terms of equipment, nothing was missing. Everything was very clean, there were no defects. Every evening we had a barbecue on the large, cozy terrace and end the evening with a beer or a glass of wine. On some evenings we could even see a deer at the edge of the forest opposite. The owners of the holiday home Marc and Dorothe Heckelmann are two very nice hosts and we immediately felt very comfortable. We can only recommend this holiday home to everyone; We too would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next vacation in the Heckelmann holiday home.
